Amy Donaldson is a renowned artist known for her collection of abstract artwork and paintings. With a strong sense of color and an innate understanding of space and light, Donaldson creates passionate and vibrant compositions. Her unique artistic approach involves using a fusion of crushed, powdered, natural pigments with oil paint, applied in a freely expressive manner.

Instead of traditional brushes, she employs alternative tools to attack the canvas, resulting in a process that is both additive and subtractive, resembling sculpture as much as painting. The final result is a range of breathtaking expressions, from the timeworn erosion of an aging city to the ethereal depth of a hazy horizon. Some of her works feature elements of graffiti, cutting through the layered surface like traces of humanity.

Donaldson's oeuvre evokes the atmospheres of European Romanticism and Impressionism, with a signature style that exudes immediacy and freshness. Her artwork emanates a healing power, with an angelic presence found in each piece. Amy Donaldson has exhibited her works internationally, from London to New York, Chicago, and California, and her pieces have been featured in various publications.

She currently resides and works in Redding, California, and her artwork can be found in numerous private and public collections. Let Amy Donaldson's captivating creations transport you to new realms of color and emotion
