AN-EL is a Turkish manufacturer of electromechanical components, established in 1972 to serve the household appliance industry. From its 8,500-square-metre covered production facility in Tuzla, Istanbul, the company produces more than 25 million components annually. Its range includes rotary, push-button and slide switches, indicator lamps, safety switches, OEM encoders, and plastic parts. Products are designed for applications in major and small household appliances, as well as heating and cooling systems, and include components such as oven safety locks, dryer door locks, refrigerator switches and hot-surface warning lamps.
Alongside standard product lines, AN-EL supports customers’ needs for small plastic and metal parts, drawing on in-house tooling expertise that spans mould maintenance and spare-part production. Its research and development laboratory is equipped to conduct tests in accordance with EN 61058 and DIN 710 standards. For plastic components, the company uses engineering materials including PA6, PA66, PC and PSU, selected according to electrical, mechanical and performance requirements.
