ANAA-Katzen Deutschland e.V. is an animal welfare association dedicated to rescuing and protecting animals through compassion and practical support. What began as an initiative by individuals has grown into a volunteer-supported organisation working to bring relief and better prospects to animals that have experienced hardship. The association supports its Spanish partner, Asociación Nacional de Amigos de los Animales (ANAA Madrid), and helps street animals in Bulgaria through a local colleague. It also assists animals in Germany, although this work is limited by the availability of foster homes.

ANAA-Katzen Deutschland works to prevent suffering as well as respond to it, including by supporting sterilisation efforts. Its website shares animals seeking homes, urgent cases, adoption information and guidance on the placement process. Supporters can also help through sponsorships, donations and other forms of assistance. The association publishes news and offers a newsletter to keep animal lovers informed about its work and current needs.
