Anacortes Skate Park

The Anacortes Skate Park Improvement Project supports skateboarding and community life in Anacortes, Washington. Its work focuses on enhancing the Ben Root Skate Park and helping keep it welcoming and well maintained. The project invites residents and supporters to contribute through donations, which help fund the park’s annual maintenance in cooperation with the City of Anacortes. Contributions also support events, workshops, and classes held at the park, creating opportunities for people to participate in skateboarding as an art form, lifestyle, and sport.

The project’s website provides information about donating, park benches and features, its gallery, project timeline, and ways to get involved. Supporters can help improve the park and sustain activities that bring the skateboarding community together. Located at 705 Commercial Avenue in Anacortes, the project encourages people to take part in making the community a better place through skateboarding. It also provides a phone contact for inquiries and welcomes contributions toward ongoing improvements and programming.
