Anchorage Community Ice Management (ACIM) is a local nonprofit created by the Anchorage Hockey Association and contracted by the Municipality of Anchorage to manage the Ben Boeke and Dempsey Anderson ice arenas. Its community-owned approach aims to keep these public facilities open, well cared for, and accessible to skaters across Anchorage. ACIM is a registered 501(c)(3), and says revenue generated by the arenas is reinvested in the ice, staff, programs, and local community rather than distributed for private profit.

The organization helps visitors and members find ways to skate through arena schedules, public and open skate sessions, and an online ice-booking system for members. Its information and services support hockey players, figure skaters, families, and people new to skating, with schedules covering both arenas. ACIM also invites local businesses to support the facilities through sponsorships and encourages community members to get in touch about programs and partnerships. Through transparent stewardship and reinvestment, ACIM works to sustain Anchorage’s public ice and make it easier for everyone to get on the ice.
