Ancient Chat is a private messaging app designed to help people stay connected with friends and family. It brings direct conversations, group chats, voice and video calls, and short-lived stories together in one place. Messages and delivery statuses sync in real time, so users can follow conversations without refreshing. One-on-one chats are intended to keep communication between users and their contacts, while group controls help people organize and moderate shared conversations.

With Ancient Chat’s 24-hour stories, users can share photos and video clips that disappear after a day, offering a way to post quick updates without leaving permanent clutter in chats. HD voice and video calls provide face-to-face ways to connect, alongside text messaging and group conversations. The app’s presentation includes onboarding, messaging, stories, and calling features. Ancient Chat promotes itself as private and free, and invites users to download the app through Google Play and the iOS App Store. Its website also provides access to a privacy policy, terms, community and child-safety information, and account deletion.
