Andao Institute is a Czech school of traditional Chinese cultivation, healing and holistic practices, operating since 2006. Based in Prague, it offers seminars and courses that introduce students to methods for working with qi, supporting physical and mental well-being, and developing a more balanced approach to daily life. Its program includes taiji, a practice with martial roots; qigong exercises; traditional Chinese medicine; tuina massage; children’s tuina; and zuliao, a form of foot reflex massage.
Courses cover practical techniques as well as the philosophies behind these traditions, with options for beginners and more experienced practitioners. The institute says its lecturers have professional training in traditional Chinese medicine and related fields, and share experience passed on by Chinese healing arts master Dr. Wang Fuyin.
Founder Václav Lukeš was Dr. Wang’s personal student. Andao also contributed to the development of professional tuina training in the Czech Republic.
Its seminars are available for personal learning and, in some cases, for use in therapeutic practice
