The Andrássy Gyula Foundation is a Hungarian organization dedicated to preserving the historical and cultural heritage of Count Gyula Andrássy and supporting the scholarly study and public appreciation of his family’s past. Established in 2005 at the initiative of Prince Pál Odescalchi, Andrássy’s great-grandson, the foundation promotes the count’s artistic, political, and historical legacy in Hungary and across Europe.
Its work focuses on making the history and significance of Gyula Andrássy and his family more accessible. The foundation provides biographical information about the count, shares news and updates about its activities, and undertakes projects connected with historical records. These include an archival digitization project, intended to support the preservation and study of archival materials. The organization also publishes project updates and information about its structure and mission, and invites the public to learn more or support its work, including through Hungary’s personal income tax donation scheme. Through these activities, the foundation seeks to connect historical research with broader public interest in Hungary’s cultural and political heritage.
