Autistické centrum Andreas

Autistické centrum Andreas is a Bratislava-based nonprofit organization supporting people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Founded in 2001, the centre serves clients from early childhood through adulthood, offering individualized support tailored to each person’s needs, abilities and circumstances. Its multidisciplinary team includes special and therapeutic educators, psychologists and social workers.

Services include diagnostic and follow-up assessments, therapies, professional consultations, group and leisure activities, and educational programs for parents and professionals. Since January 2023, its specialist counselling and prevention centre has focused on children and students with autism or other pervasive developmental disorders and is part of Slovakia’s network of school facilities. In partnership with a social services home established in 2007, Andreas also supports adults with ASD. For clients from the Bratislava region, it provides free specialist social counselling and social rehabilitation with support from the Bratislava Self-Governing Region.

The organization promotes safe, inclusive environments, development, education, social participation and active lives.
