About Andrew L. Hicks
The Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation is a brand established in August 2010, following the passing of Andrew L.
Hicks Jr. The foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities for the youth of Chester, Pennsylvania. Their mission focuses on creating events and programs that bring together Chester children and the West Chester community.
The foundation aims to empower Chester children and Chester County high school students by offering them various opportunities. Through their Open Events, the youngest Chester children are exposed to new experiences and people, while high school students gain volunteer and leadership experience. The Warrior Guides program builds trust and offers mentorship opportunities for both Henderson High School mentors and Chester mentees in grades 4 to 6.
The foundation also offers a teen leadership development program called RISE for 7th to 9th graders in Chester. Additionally, they provide a college and career readiness program called Launch for 10th to 12th graders. The Andrew L.
Hicks, Jr. Foundation is guided by a Board of Directors who seek the Lord's guidance. They strive to honor Andrew's legacy and the Lord through their actions and character, rather than with empty words.
