Andrew Scott Equestrian

Andrew Scott Equestrian is a multi-faceted equestrian business led by Andrew Scott and his wife, Louise. Andrew brings extensive international riding and coaching experience, including seven national titles, team gold at the World Equestrian Games and recognition as an elite Equestrian Sports New Zealand coach across dressage, show jumping and eventing. His coaching has supported riders and teams from New Zealand and overseas, while his practical philosophy focuses on empowering athletes and keeping training simple. He also draws on his sports psychology expertise to provide mental skills and life-skills seminars for people of different ages, abilities and sporting backgrounds.

Together, Andrew and Louise have started more than 75 four-star horses, many of which went on to compete internationally. Louise contributes experience as a former competitive rider and a holistic approach to horse welfare. The business offers coaching, clinics and events, alongside services including sales preparation, agistment and cross-country course design. Andrew’s work also includes equine consulting and teaching as an adjunct lecturer at Massey University.
