Andropogon

Andropogon is not just a unique name for a brand; it represents an idea, an ethos, and an aspiration. The brand derives its name from a group of common North American field grasses that are the first to emerge after land disturbance, playing a crucial role in restoring the ecosystem. Founded more than 40 years ago, Andropogon is a landscape architecture and ecological design firm that is dedicated to designing with nature.

Their work is inspired by the observation of natural processes and informed by the best environmental science. Andropogon believes that truly sustainable design goes beyond minimizing impact and aims to restore the integrity of a site for regenerative, long-term community benefits. As a certified minority business enterprise, Andropogon prioritizes diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Their services include landscape architecture, site analysis, design, management, stormwater management, environmental planning, and more. With a focus on harmonizing people and place, Andropogon aims to create high-performance, beautiful, and impactful landscapes that tell the story of each site
