The Andros Research Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the research and preservation of the landscape, history, and heritage of Andros. Founded in 2009 by three friends who are passionate about the environment, culture, and sustainable tourism, the center conducts research to benefit the island. Its main objectives are to conduct research and transform it into good practices for the protection and promotion of Andros' natural environment and culture.

The center focuses on protecting Andros' unique and threatened nature and landscape, documenting and reviving the local heritage and culture, and supporting and encouraging sustainable tourism on the island. With a team of dedicated founding members and staff, including Olga Karagianni, Alexandros Mavis, and George Speis, the Andros Research Center aims to make a positive impact on the island's preservation and promote responsible tourism
