&SHEA is a women’s surf and yoga retreat in Portugal, created for travellers seeking a memorable week by the ocean without the intensity of a traditional retreat or the party focus of a typical surf camp. It welcomes women travelling solo or with friends, including complete beginners as well as intermediate and advanced surfers. The experience combines professional surf lessons, personal guidance and video analysis to help guests build confidence in the water.
Daily yoga and movement sessions, restorative yin practice and sound healing offer opportunities to unwind and recharge. Guests are also served fresh, nourishing vegetarian meals and have time to swim, read, explore the village or simply relax between activities. At the heart of &SHEA is a supportive community where women can meet like-minded people, share new experiences and form friendships.
Activities are voluntary, allowing each guest to shape her week at her own pace. The retreat aims to make arrival easy, with the essentials taken care of so guests can focus on enjoying Portugal
