ANEEJ, the Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice, is a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering marginalized groups and amplifying their voices in democratic decision-making processes. With a focus on environmental and economic justice, ANEEJ implements projects in various areas such as governance and anti-corruption, human rights including migration and development, peace building and conflict resolution, and development effectiveness. Since 1997, ANEEJ has been at the forefront of advocating against illicit financial flows and for the repatriation of looted assets.

They have worked with numerous civil society organizations and have coordinated efforts in monitoring repatriated funds. ANEEJ also collaborates with international organizations like EURODAD, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, to create an enabling environment for youth and promote equitable economic development in Nigeria. With their commitment to advocating for socio-economic and environmental rights, ANEEJ envisions an Africa without poverty and strives to contribute to the emergence of a just and equitable society
