Anffascatania

Anffas Onlus Catania is an association of families and people with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders, active in Catania since the 1960s. It works alongside people with disabilities and their families, offering services, information and opportunities for support and inclusion. Its services include a day rehabilitation centre, a semi-residential facility affiliated with Italy’s National Health Service, and the SAI information desk, which provides free information and advice on key issues relating to disability.

The association also offers housing services through “Un amore di casa,” a project focused on support during and after family care. Its activities and resources include “Notiziabile,” a monthly publication produced by the Capacity group. People can contribute by becoming members or volunteers, supporting the organisation through donations or bequests, or exploring employment opportunities.
