ANffAS Parma

ANFFAS Parma ETS-APS is a local association supporting people with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders, together with their families. Part of the wider ANFFAS network, which has worked across Italy for more than 60 years, the association promotes inclusion, self-determination and wellbeing through practical support and community activities.

Its free S.A.I. reception and information service offers families guidance and consultation on disability-related matters, including benefits, legal documents and forms, education and employment. ANFFAS Parma also provides advice to families facing challenges with social inclusion and shares accessible information through educational resources, a glossary, guidance on respectful language and anti-discrimination materials.

For members and their families, the association organizes leisure activities such as gym sessions, art workshops, cinema and bowling outings, and holidays. These experiences aim to strengthen communication, social and relational skills while supporting personal choice. ANFFAS Parma also works with local partners on “Dopo di Noi” initiatives addressing future support and living arrangements for people with disabilities. Volunteers are welcomed and offered training and information.
