Angela Plowhead is a dedicated clinical psychologist and community leader committed to serving veterans and vulnerable populations. With a diverse educational background, including an A.A.S. in Applied Science, a B.S. in Occupational Education, and both an M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, Angela has built a career focused on mental health and advocacy. She has spent over a decade working in VA Medical Centers, including roles as a supervisory psychologist and a mental health director for home-based primary care. In 2014, she launched her private practice to continue offering care to veterans and underserved individuals.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Angela actively participates in her community, serving as a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a Precinct Committee Person, while also contributing to various advisory councils. She leads initiatives such as a nonprofit aimed at Veteran Suicide Prevention. Angela encapsulates the spirit of service through her work, embodying her roles as a clinical psychologist, mom, wife, and tireless advocate for her community.
