– Angela Rydell

Writers’ Inlet is the writing and coaching practice of poet and writing coach Angela Rydell. Drawing on more than twenty years of experience supporting writers, Rydell helps novelists develop book structure and helps short-form writers refine their craft, find literary journal homes, and publish collections. The site offers coaching and editing, alongside programs designed to build momentum, creative connection, and writing habits.

Inlet Write-Alongs invite participants to work on their own projects in shared solitude, with regular sessions offering accountability and community support. Metaphorestry for Writers uses engagement with the natural world and imaginative metaphor to help writers explore personal themes and connect ideas with their work. Mindful Writing retreats combine reflective prompts, group discussion, practical tips, and short meditations to encourage a gentler approach to the writing process. Writers’ Inlet also features interviews with published authors, a newsletter, and additional writing resources. Across its offerings, the brand provides writers with guidance, craft practices, and supportive spaces to navigate creative challenges and carry their work forward.
