Angel Intervention

Angel Sober Living (ASL) provides recovery housing in Van Wert, Ohio, for people who are newly sober and seeking support as they work toward long-term sobriety. The organization describes its homes as safe, healthy environments and an alternative to established recovery-oriented care. Safety measures include a certified, trained drug dog and 24/7 property surveillance.

ASL offers residents practical and wellness-focused activities designed to support daily living and recovery. These include cooking, food preservation, budgeting, laundry and cleaning skills, basic vehicle maintenance, minor household repairs, resume preparation, arts and crafts, yoga, meditation, drum circles and volunteering. Residents may also have access to an onsite gym and sauna, a wellness center, detox foot baths and other listed wellness services. Relapse prevention planning and community resource connections are also part of the support offered.

ASL was founded by Holly Conklin, who also leads Angel Intervention Services. Conklin is described as a certified intervention professional and drug and alcohol counselor, with more than 12 years of experience supporting individuals and families affected by addiction.
