Angie Padilla

Angie Padilla is an independent researcher, history educator, runologist and Germanic philologist whose work brings academic study into conversation with spirituality. With degrees from the universities of Pisa and Florence and experience at Aarhus University’s Department of the History of Religions, she researches runic inscriptions, pre-Christian religions and rituals, Norse literature and cognitive science. She also gives talks across Europe, shares historical knowledge with the public and volunteers in historical reenactment at museums in Denmark.

Angie offers courses and lessons for schools, universities and private learners, including instruction on runes, magic and religion. Her services include thesis research support, bibliographic research and editing, as well as tailored spiritual or secular ceremonies for occasions such as weddings and births. She creates historical events and experimental archaeology activities for museums, reenactment groups and individuals, and provides private spiritual coaching.
