Angler-Club Westend

Angler-Club Westend e. V. is an angling association founded in 1913 and described as one of Germany’s oldest fishing clubs.

The club brings together people who share an enthusiasm for fishing, the outdoors, quiet time in nature, and socializing with fellow anglers. Its waters are located in the Vogelsberg Landscape Conservation Area and include approximately 40 hectares of still water and 80 kilometres of flowing water. Listed locations include Großer Weiher, Erlenwiesenweiher, Dorfweiher, the Kinzig, Sotzbach, Bracht and Reichenbach, as well as backwaters and a spawning pond.

The club provides information for prospective and current members about membership, fee payments, club facilities, and its waters. Its activities and resources include youth-related information, community fishing events, club-service registration, annual catch records, downloadable documents, and club statutes.
