AnglerFish Aquatics

Anglerfish Aquatics is a swim and aquatics program based at the Bruce Calvert Aquatic Center at Cumberland High School in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The organization offers learn-to-swim instruction and a USA Swimming team, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities. Its small-team environment supports swimmers’ personal growth both in and out of the water, from those developing their skills to elite athletes pursuing high-level goals. Swim team enrollment is open, and prospective members can inquire about schedules and tryouts.

The program also provides Masters Swimming practices and instruction for a broad range of experience and ability levels; participation in the instruction is not required. Open swim sessions are available throughout the week for individuals, with payment made at the pool. Through a partnership with Tri-Kids RI, Anglerfish Aquatics also offers beginner and advanced triathlon training that combines swimming, biking, and running. Participants do not need prior cycling experience, as instruction is provided. New learn-to-swim inquiries are welcome through the organization’s website.
