Angler’s Alibi is a remote fishing lodge on the Alagnak River in Alaska’s Bristol Bay region, accessible by floatplane from King Salmon. Located on the river’s tidewater section, the lodge offers productive fishing from its shoreline and dock, as well as guided trips to nearby waters. Guests can target all five Pacific salmon species, trophy rainbow trout, Arctic char, and grayling, with opportunities to fish in the surrounding Bristol Bay watershed and Katmai National Park.
The lodge specializes in fly fishing and fly-out adventures, drawing on more than 30 years of regional experience. Its guides provide tailored programs, small group sizes, and up to nine hours of guided fishing each day. Special fly-out weeks are available, while standard weeks offer optional excursions. When weather prevents flights, fishing remains accessible near the lodge.
Angler’s Alibi also provides dining and hospitality alongside its fishing programs. Its log cabins feature private en-suite bathrooms, heat, covered porches, and power.
