Anglerfreunde Speyer e.V. is a regional angling club dedicated to fishing, nature conservation and community life in Speyer, Germany. Its activities centre on the Russenweiher, a local pond the club helps care for and preserve. The association welcomes anglers, young people, nature enthusiasts, supporters and interested visitors, and offers opportunities to take part in club life and pursue membership.

Beyond recreational fishing, the club supports responsible stewardship of the pond through maintenance work, clean-up efforts and attention to water quality and wildlife. Members have also helped install an aeration system at the Russenweiher, working alongside the supplier and the City of Speyer to improve oxygenation. The association shares updates, announcements and information about the pond, its history, the club’s leadership, partners and ways to contribute. Youth angling, social gatherings and collective projects are part of its broader community focus. By bringing together members, residents and local partners, Anglerfreunde Speyer aims to sustain the pond and strengthen the traditions and shared enjoyment of the outdoors around Speyer.
