Anima is a creative studio with a strong human touch, working in the areas of Communication, Design, Films, Digital, and Audio. Since 2011, we have been combining the power of creativity with local knowledge to bring about lasting change in our community. We collaborate with organizations that are dedicated to Social Development, Conservation, and the Cultural and Creative Industries.

In the realm of Social Development, we strive for social justice, gender equality, improved education opportunities, employment, and entrepreneurship. Through effective human communication, we believe that every gesture matters and that these messages can reach more people.

We are also passionate about fostering Creative Industries by fueling critical thinking, the desire to shake things up, and transform society. We aim to create and strengthen a creative industry in Mozambique that values the work of all creatives involved in arts and culture.

Conservation is another priority for us. We want future generations to experience the wonders of running through forests, swimming in pristine waters, and encountering elephants. With this in mind, we work towards the preservation of our planet, its beings, and all its natural elements.

In addition to these endeavors, we have developed various projects. Kinani, a program for the 10th anniversary of the Maputo Contemporary Dance Biennial, involved creating visual identity, program design, brochures, and an interactive installation. MAKE, Janete, Experiência laurentina, BIOFUND, Koord, and Informais are some other initiatives we have been involved in, promoting networking, entrepreneurship, innovation, financial literacy, gender equality, and community development.
