About AnimalFriendsCroatia
Udruga Prijatelji životinja, established in 2001, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting animal rights and advocating for vegetarianism and veganism as ethical, ecological, and health-conscious lifestyles. Located in Zagreb, Croatia, the organization actively engages in various campaigns aimed at raising awareness about animal welfare issues, including petitions against animal vivisection, fur farming, and the exploitation of animals in circuses and zoos.
In addition to advocacy, Prijatelji životinja offers a range of resources such as vegan recipes, information on animal rights laws, and opportunities for public participation in activism. They encourage community involvement through volunteer programs and educational initiatives, striving to inspire compassion towards all living beings.
As a member of several international animal rights organizations, including Eurogroup for Animals and OIPA, Udruga Prijatelji životinja is dedicated to fostering a society that respects and protects animal rights. Their office operates Monday to Friday, providing support and information to those interested in joining their mission.
