Animal Humane New Mexico is a private, nonprofit animal shelter located in Albuquerque, NM. As a dedicated organization, our main mission is to save the lives of homeless and at-risk cats and dogs across the state. We offer a range of products and services to support our cause.

At our shelter, you can find adoptable pets, including both dogs and cats, waiting for their forever homes. Additionally, we have The Center, a stress-free environment where your pet can learn, play, and rest comfortably. We also provide various resources such as a veterinary clinic, behavior helpline, and pet food pantry.

Through our programs and events, like outreach, education, and tours, we strive to create awareness and promote responsible pet ownership. At Animal Humane New Mexico, we rely on the support of generous donors, volunteers, and partners to continue our life-saving work. Join us in making a difference for pets in need by adopting, donating, or becoming a partner
