About animalreportCY
Animal Party Cyprus (APC) is a dedicated political movement established in April 2014, aimed at advocating for animal welfare and integrating it into the political landscape of Cyprus. Committed to addressing the urgent issues of animal neglect and cruelty, APC seeks to bring a voice to the voiceless animals within policy-making processes. The organization is part of a growing international network of political parties focused on animal rights, reflecting a global awareness of these critical issues.
APC offers various services including volunteer opportunities for community involvement, educational campaigns on animal welfare, and guidance for EU citizens in Cyprus to register for voting in local and EU elections. Their initiatives also include advocating for the appointment of a Commissioner for Animal Legal and Welfare Issues to ensure that animals are protected through effective legislation. Through their campaigns, APC strives not only for the wellbeing of animals but also promotes a healthier environment for all living beings in Cyprus.
