About AnimalRescueCumbria
Animal Rescue Cumbria is a well-established charity located near Kendal in Cumbria. Since its humble beginnings in 1972, the organization has dedicated itself to rescuing and re-homing around 300 dogs, cats, and kittens each year. Their mission is to provide a secure and caring environment for animals whose owners can no longer care for them and help them find permanent, loving homes.
The experienced Animal Care Team at Animal Rescue Cumbria works tirelessly to rehabilitate animals that need it before they are ready for adoption. However, none of this would be possible without the generosity of volunteers and supporters within the community. There are various ways you can contribute, including re-homing or fostering an animal, volunteering your time, supporting their shop, or making a donation.
Animal Rescue Cumbria's purpose is to provide the best possible care for shelter animals, offer enrichment opportunities, provide lifelong support to pet owners, promote responsible pet ownership, and pursue diverse income streams to ensure their survival and prosperity
