Animal Rescue, Inc. is a nonprofit animal welfare organization founded in 1976. Known as a “Sanctuary for Life,” it has spent five decades rescuing dogs and cats in need and helping them find lasting homes. The organization offers adoption services for dogs and cats, with information about adoptable pets, application forms, policies, fees, and adoption locations. Its team can also help prospective adopters choose a companion suited to their home, lifestyle, and future.
People who cannot adopt can support the animals by fostering dogs, cats, or kittens, volunteering, sponsoring a pet, or making donations. The organization also provides wishlists and planned-giving options, including bequests, retirement accounts, life insurance, and securities. Additional services include feline spay and neuter assistance, pet surrender support, and crisis intervention. Community events and fundraisers help raise support and connect people with the rescue’s work, while branded clothing and other rescue gear are available through its store.
