Animal Shiatsu by Angela Gamma is a specialist institute for animal shiatsu in Switzerland, offering professional training, online learning and therapy. It describes itself as the country’s only provider of an EduQua-certified diploma programme in animal shiatsu, designed to prepare qualified practitioners. Its courses introduce the background and applications of shiatsu and teach practical techniques, with a particular focus on dogs.
The online dog shiatsu programme includes video and audio lessons, contemporary learning materials and personal one-to-one coaching; additional online courses, seminars and workshops are also offered. For animal owners, the institute provides shiatsu treatments for pets and farm animals, with mobile appointments in the greater Lucerne, Zurich and eastern Switzerland regions, although new clients are currently not being accepted. Animal Shiatsu also sells a 50-by-70-centimetre dog meridian poster showing energy pathways and points, intended for learning or display at home and in therapy practices.
Its blog shares information about animal shiatsu, including balance, wellbeing and possible areas of application
