Animals In Need Donegal is a dedicated nonprofit organization established in 2006 by a passionate group of animal welfare advocates in Donegal Town. With a commitment to alleviating animal suffering, the organization has evolved into a hands-on voluntary group focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming unwanted, injured, and abandoned animals. As a 100% volunteer-driven initiative, Animals In Need operates under a strict no-kill policy, ensuring the safety and welfare of every animal in its care.

The organization engages in various fundraising activities to support its mission and is actively involved in community outreach through its charity shops and special events, such as the annual 5kMay fundraiser. By providing essential advice and support via their helplines for both dogs and cats, Animals In Need aims to educate the public on responsible pet ownership. With a growing network of volunteers and supporters, Animals In Need Donegal continues to make a significant impact on the lives of animals across the region.
