Animals Like Us is a New Zealand pet food brand focused on nurturing the relationship between animals and their people through natural nutrition. It makes high-protein food for dogs and cats, using New Zealand meat, organs and fish sourced from farms and oceans. The brand’s recipes are made in New Zealand and freeze-dried to preserve nutrition, offering a convenient way to add raw food to pets’ diets.
Its range includes freeze-dried raw meals in 33%, 50% and 100% options, as well as mixers and raw treats. Products feature real meat and organ chunks, with some recipes combining these ingredients with meat and vegetable bites. The brand highlights grass-fed beef, free-range chicken and sustainably farmed King salmon among its ingredients. It also notes that its food has no added grains, sugars, glycerins, hormones or growth promotants.
Animals Like Us provides resources including a feeding calculator, information about its production and raw feeding, frequently asked questions, and store-finding support. Its philosophy is to make raw nutrition easy for pets and their owners.
