Stowarzyszenie Animal Support

Animal Support is a Warsaw-based animal protection association that brings together experienced volunteers committed to preventing animal suffering and improving the lives of animals in need. Through its Animal Protection Center, the organization works to rescue animals from difficult conditions, arrange veterinary care, and find them safe, loving homes. Its activities include responding to reports of cruelty, promoting adoption, and recruiting foster homes and volunteers. The group also encourages public support through donations and partnerships with businesses and other organizations.

Animal Support addresses the wider causes of animal homelessness through its “Gminy pod lupą” project, which examines how local governments in the Mazowieckie region respond to the issue, including their budgets and contracts with animal-care providers. The organization shares news, adoption stories, and guidance on reporting animal abuse to help inform the public. Its website currently states that accepting reports and carrying out interventions are temporarily suspended; urgent cases should be directed to emergency services, police, municipal police, or Animal Helper.
