About Guyana Animation Net
Guyana Animation Network (GAN) Inc. is a leading organization in the creative and digital industries in Guyana and the Caribbean. Since its inception in 2016, GAN has been committed to cultivating a multi-dimensional connectivity for the youth in the region and beyond. Through its Annual Digital Summer Camps, Creating Creative Connections, and Girls in ICT Interschools’ Initiative, GAN has trained over 400 children and youth, with a special focus on nurturing creativity and innovation.
The organization offers a wide range of training programs, including comic art design, 2D animation, 3D and virtual-reality game development and design, stop motion animation, digital painting, character design, and app design and prototyping. In addition, GAN has hosted international trips, secured partnerships, and organized various workshops to provide employment and exposure opportunities for participants.
Supported by a team of dedicated trainers, GAN is committed to driving workforce development and skills training in the Animation and New Media Industries, making a significant impact on youth empowerment and digital innovation in the region.
