About Animation Nights New York
Animation Nights New York (ANNY) is a curated monthly screening event and annual festival based in NYC. They showcase animated short films and virtual reality animation experiences from around the world. The screening events are free to attend, and project submission is also free.
ANNY is a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) by the NYC Small Business Services. They also have an online platform called ANNY Exchange, which connects animation talent to various opportunities. ANNY Cannes Program provides another opportunity for their filmmakers to join them at the Cannes Film Festival.
They hand select 20 animated short films for exhibition in the ANNY Cannes Program. Additionally, ANNY hosts industry events in Cannes as part of ANNY Exchange. The ANNY Best of Fest is a two-day conference and festival that features animation screenings, fine art installations, an XR showcase, professional panels, and industry events.
