Anime Feminist

Anime Feminist is a vibrant platform dedicated to exploring Japanese pop culture through a feminist lens. Launched in October 2016, it serves as a hub for feminist critiques in anime and manga, aiming to create an inclusive space that amplifies underrepresented voices. The brand is committed to fair compensation for all contributors, establishing itself as a respected authority in the English-speaking anime community.

Anime Feminist offers a range of engaging content, including feature articles, community discussions, and a popular podcast titled Chatty AF, which addresses various feminist topics. The brand has successfully expanded its offerings over the years, including a searchable review database and recommendations pages. With ongoing support from the AniFam community, Anime Feminist continues to enhance its site, increase writer compensation, and delve deeper into manga and light novel reviews.
