About TAAF
Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2024 (TAAF2024) is an international animation film festival organized by the TAAF Executive Committee and the Japan Animation Association to promote animation works. It is a continuation of the "Tokyo International Anime Fair" held from 2002 to 2013 and has developed into a prominent event since 2014, with the upcoming 2025 edition being the 12th iteration. The festival includes a "Competition Division" for global animation works not yet released in Japan, an "Anime of the Year Division" for domestic animations, and an "Animation Merit Division" for industry contributors.
Through screenings, symposiums, and workshops, TAAF aims to discover and nurture new talents, contribute to anime culture and industry, promote Tokyo's charm, and stimulate the global animation community.
