About Aniquem
Aniquem is a unique and non-profit NGO in Peru that provides comprehensive and free rehabilitation to children and adolescents who have survived burn injuries. Our main objective is to improve the quality of life for our patients and create a culture of burn prevention in the country. Our range of services includes rehabilitation, garment construction, burn prevention, social services, and surgical campaigns.
We are proud to be the only self-sustaining organization of our kind in Peru, ensuring that our work can continue to make a lasting impact. We believe in the power of collaboration and have formed partnerships with over 30 companies who support our mission. Through our programs, we have treated 2,293 patients in 2022 alone, with 50% of them being children under 5 years and 33% coming from provinces.
