The Association of Northwest Landscape Designers (ANLD) is a nonprofit organization serving professional landscape designers in Oregon and Washington. It supports a community of landscape professionals through networking and educational opportunities, including monthly meetings where prospective members can learn more about the organization. ANLD also helps homeowners and gardeners find a designer suited to their projects through its designer directory and guidance on choosing and hiring a landscape designer.

The organization highlights the value of thoughtful landscape planning, which can help reduce maintenance, bring year-round color and interest, uncover a property’s potential, and avoid costly changes later. ANLD has also hosted a tour of professionally designed residential gardens, featuring work by member designers; the tour was paused during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a possible return under consideration. Its website offers garden tour archives, member information, bylaws, events, and resources for finding a speaker or designer.

ANLD’s work connects design professionals with the public while encouraging well-planned outdoor spaces and a stronger regional design community
