Anna daghem is a private childcare centre in central Jakobstad, Finland, and part of the activities of Ebeneserkyrkan. It has two groups and offers a total of 21 places for children aged one to five. The centre’s approach is grounded in Christian values, with an emphasis on providing a safe, homelike environment where children feel heard, respected and included. Its stated aim is to work together with parents to help children build a stable foundation and values for life.
The programme supports children’s social development through shared activities that encourage patience, helping one another and forgiveness. Anna daghem has announced that it will close from 1 August 2026 while its operations are reshaped, with plans to return in a new form.
