Anna Krop

Anna Krop Decorative Art is the art practice of Calgary-based artist Anna Krop, whose work brings together fine art, interior design, architecture, and inspiration from nature. With a Master’s degree in Fine Art from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Poland and a certificate in Interior Decorating from Mount Royal University, Krop creates bespoke, sculptural artworks designed to enrich the experience of a space.

Her current work features organic forms, layered textures, and a sense of depth, often in monochromatic palettes. Many pieces are made on irregularly shaped wood canvases, where the edges become part of the composition and evoke natural landscapes and geological formations. Krop offers custom commissions for private homes, offices, and commercial interiors, as well as existing artwork subject to availability. Each commission begins with a conversation about the space and the desired mood, followed by decisions about shape, size, and texture. Sketches and digital mock-ups help clients envision the artwork before creation, with the aim of producing a personal, harmonious piece that feels at home in its setting.
