Annalisa Ericsons

Annalisa Ericson’s Foundation is a Swedish charitable foundation established in 2005 by celebrated actress, singer and dancer Annalisa Ericson. Inspired by her long career on stage and screen, the foundation supports the next generation of women performers through an annual scholarship. Its purpose is to help a talented young actress pursue further education and artistic development, recognizing not only strong acting but also particular ability in singing and dance.

The award celebrates the kind of accomplished, engaging work across musical theatre that defined Ericson’s own artistic legacy. The foundation describes its distinction as Sweden’s largest prize for female musical performers. Recent recipients include musical theatre artists Anna Salonen, awarded the 2024 scholarship, and Lisette T.

Pagler, recognized in 2023; the awards for those years were SEK 100,000. Ericson remained involved in selecting early recipients until her death in 2011. Today, the foundation is guided by a board that includes actors and a banking professional.
