Nest by the Sea is a coastal design brand focused on creating functional, elegant homes with a sophisticated seaside feel. Its approach balances distinctive, one-of-a-kind treasures with new pieces, bringing character and comfort together to make a house feel like home. The brand’s style has been shaped by summers on Nantucket and by experience in the design and home furnishings industry.
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts, founder Anne Collard worked as a buyer for Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica and later for Waterleaf Interiors in Manhattan Beach. In 2015, she established Anne Collard Design to develop her vision of a sophisticated coastal lifestyle. The studio opened in El Segundo’s downtown business district in 2019.
Through its design work, Nest by the Sea offers a considered perspective on coastal interiors, combining practicality with carefully selected furnishings and décor. Collard’s work has appeared in Cottages & Bungalows and Southbay Magazine
