Annemiek Drenth

Annemiek Drenth is an Emmen-based speaker, musician and celebrant whose work centres on love, connection and telling people’s stories with warmth and care. A born-and-raised resident of Emmen in southeast Drenthe, she became self-employed in 2018 to pursue her passions for speaking, music and bringing people together. Her work as a wedding celebrant, funeral speaker and singer was recognised when she was named Emmenaar of the Year.

For weddings, Annemiek creates personal ceremonies shaped by conversations with couples and their families. She also offers a singing celebrant service, combining a tailored speech with live music, and can provide music for wedding events. For funerals, she listens to relatives and helps express a person’s life story in a thoughtful, personal tribute. Her services also include ceremonial speaking and music in Drèents, reflecting her regional roots. Across these occasions, Annemiek aims to make people feel heard and connected through words and song. Prospective clients can contact her by phone, email, WhatsApp or through her website.
