About Annenberg Beach House
Annenberg Beach House is a remarkable brand located on 5 acres of oceanfront property in Santa Monica, California. Originally developed in the 1920s as an opulent private estate for actress Marion Davies, the Beach House has since evolved into a public facility. During the Golden Age of Hollywood, luminaries such as Charlie Chaplin, Greta Garbo, and Clark Gable frequented this hotspot.
After undergoing various transformations, including being hailed as America's Most Beautiful Hotel, the property was eventually purchased by the State of California. In the 1990s, the City of Santa Monica took over the facility and renamed it '415 PCH. ' However, it wasn't until Wallis Annenberg of the Annenberg Foundation stepped in with a generous $27.
5 million grant that the Beach House was rehabilitated. Today, the Beach House seamlessly blends its historical legacy with modern amenities. Visitors can marvel at the restored Marion Davies Guest House, take a dip in the historic pool, enjoy the gallery, or spend quality time at the splash pad and children's play area.
