About Ånnerudtoppen
Ånnerudtoppen Barnehage in Asker is dedicated to providing the best possible environment for children's development and needs. With a focus on ongoing growth and the ever-evolving field of early childhood education, we are committed to staying at the forefront of new and exciting research that shapes the future of childcare. As part of our commitment to creating a stimulating environment, we have exciting development projects planned for the coming years.
Our newest project is the redesign of our outdoor play area. Working in collaboration with Studio Gorilla, we are creating a dreamlike garden with cozy hideouts, nooks, and crannies for children to explore. Our aim is to encourage imaginative play and a closer connection with nature, moving away from traditional large playground equipment.
Additionally, starting in fall 2021, we will be partnering with OsloMet for a three-year project focused on the room as the third teacher. Through training and guidance, we will enhance our ability to shape the physical spaces within the daycare center to best support children's well-being, play, and language development.
