Asociación Another Way

Another Way Film Festival is a Madrid-based film and cultural festival focused on climate change, cultural transformation and sustainable progress. Its 12th edition is scheduled for 20–25 October 2026, bringing audiences together for six days of films, conversations and activities that use audiovisual storytelling to inspire change. Screenings and events are planned at venues including Cineteca, Filmoteca Española, Institut français de Madrid, Impact Hub and Sala Equis, with films also available from home through Filmin.

The festival’s programme features documentaries, short films and other works addressing environmental and social themes. Alongside screenings, it offers workshops, guided nature walks, gardening activities, family events and opportunities for discussion. Its industry programme includes a pitch session where six finalist projects are presented to a professional jury, as well as meetings focused on impact documentaries. Another Way also supports collaboration across culture, the audiovisual industry and local communities. The organisation reports more than 118,990 participants and says 51% of attendees take action on the same day.
