About Awami National Party
The Awami National Party (ANP) is a Pashtun nationalist, secular, and leftist political party in Pakistan, established by Abdul Wali Khan in 1986. Currently led by Asfandyar Wali Khan, the grandson of Bacha Khan, and Mian Iftikhar Hussain as the Secretary-General, the ANP embodies values of Peace, Democracy, and Development.
